The Long Game - Frognal flat with great investment potential

From my conversations with investors, it appears that yield is the yard stick when they are considering their next purchase. Although the importance of that is not to be dismissed, capital gain is the long term driver of the investment. The days where property values doubled once every 7-10 years are long gone, nowadays, the average lifespan of an investment property is 15-18 years. I was combing the area the other day and stumbled across this flat which was pretty unique. Located on Frognal this flat has a conservatory, access to a private terrace and a share in the freehold.

On the market with Hunters for £425,000, comparable flats in the area have rented for £1516 per calender month, giving you a yield of 4.47%. The capital gain is really impressive though;since the last sale of this flat back in 1998, (17 years ago- average lifespan of the investment) it has seen a capital growth of over 500%.The figures speak for themselves and many of the local buy-to-let investors have booked a viewing, so be 1st in the queue!
