Mansfield Road NW3- 3 bedroom maisonette

Recently I've noticed that there appears to be quite a lot of activity in the pocket of roads surrounding South End Green on the borders of  Hampstead and Gospel Oak .  As i mentioned the other day this part of Hampstead is rising in popularity and a prices here are good value compared to other roads in and around the Village and Belsize Park. 




Today's pick is this 3/4 bedroom maisonette, it was first listed a couple of weeks ago and above commercial which we don't often see come to the market. Interestingly, the property is almost house like (albeit modest) in terms of its dimensions coming in at over 950 sq ft and layout. It's in great all round condition and has been well cared for by the current owner with very little preparation required for letting. Looking at the layout, this property gives lots of flexibility with 3 decent size bedrooms and a study, plus a roof terrace on the upper level, so a bit of everything thrown into the mix here. 

So, down to brass tacks and on to the number crunching..... this flat will achieve around £2,500 per calender month in rent, based on the asking price it will give you a net yield of just over 4%.  Although this type of property will largely or typically appeal to young professionals grooming their careers, its handy location may also appeal to a young family, due to the proximity for the local schools in Hampstead and  Gospel Oak, therefore must be within a particular location. The rent it will command makes it attractive to a family as its good value for NW3 and you certainly couldnt rent a house in Hampstead for this money.Either way, you can be sure to get some decent mileage out of this maisonette.
